Children are future of the nation & we want to provide good health & vigour to the children & let we feel proud on them. This estimate those about 25% of chronic childhood illness are due to neurological disorders. As per western data suggest that cerebral palsy affects 2/1000 children based on hospital records in India. There would be about 2.5 million children with these disorders. According to western data base from the developed countries, 2-3% of chronic child hood illnesses are due neurological disorders.
Indian Institute of Cerebral palsy & H.C. Varanasi is running by a group of eminent medical professional, psychologist, reputed physiotherapist & well known social scientist & educationist from 2005. But it was registered in 2006 as a society under Indian society act 1660. Its registration No is 1640 & Viklang Kalyan U.P. registration No is 1584. It is also registered with National Trust in 2008 & registration No. is 2466. It is also registered with Deptt Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. It is nonprofit non political organization serving all sections of the society without any discrimination. This institution is the sole outcome of visionary excellence of its founder members. It is one of the best integrated centers of Northern India for complete care of physically & mentally challenged children. This Institute is also a platform of barrier free environment and development for rehabilitation professionals. IICP & HC is working in different dimensions with a team of experts for the disabled children.
Main objectives of I.I.C.P.
The main motto of I.I.C.P. & H.C. is primarily on prevention of disability, early detection and appropriate interventions, physical and economic rehabilitation measures, inclusive education, employment in the public as well as private sector and self employment, creation of a barrier-free environment and development of rehabilitation professionals.

Our name reflects the Mission and commitment to provide unmatched services and support to our disabled children to enable them to excel in selected stream of their lives. Apart from this, I.I.C.P & H.C. is working in many fields. The major areas of activity of the I.I.C.P & H.C. are in the field of disability, Due to fullest contribution of our committed team of expertise, I.I.C.P & H.C. achieved higher success rate in the area of children disability interventions. Our organization has served approx. 2500 disable children in this area under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Ashok Rai (Founder secretary of Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy & Handicapped children). Our Vision is to provide tender loving care to these babies which are an essential contributor to the development of a whole some healthy child.
